a blog about the inferior things in life. (by nathaniel keifer)

About Me

I’m not that complicated of a person. I love my friends, I love my family, and I love life. Its a gift from God and I enjoy (almost) every minute of it!

I’m a single (newly graduated) guy, living in Southern California, working several jobs that I also love. Speaking of newly graduated, I just finished (Spring 2009) with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a focus on Management Information Systems from Cal State San Marcos.

I have my likes and dislikes; like everyone. Disneyland has a high ranking on my list of loves; as does Google, Amazon, and Firefox. The pure fact that three of the four items just mentioned have to do with the internet should let you know a little more information about me. I also enjoy watching movies, starting entrepreneurial ventures, and designing/hosting websites & blogs for close friends.

I don’t like meeting new people or creating new relationships, although I’ve gotten much better about this in the recent. I enjoy the simple things in life, but I also love the extravagant. In 2008, I did several ‘first time’ things for me, including skydiving and driving cross-country. I actually can’t wait to skydive again and can’t imagine wanting to drive across this great country again any time soon.

2009 has started off great with several trips/vacations, graduating with my BS, ditching glasses for RGP contacts, being invited to the Presidential Inauguration by one of my honor societies, and going to several weddings (none my own, unfortunately)…

The whole point of my blog, is to not have a point. Well, kind of. It’s actually meant to give me a place to write about the “inferior” things of life; the things that most people do not think of as the “finer” points of conversation. This might include people we meet, circumstances we find ourselves in, or places we desire to go. Small, short, and to the non-point.

the ‘Shack experiment’

I hope you've read The Shack and if not, then I hope you read it soon. Please visit this blog post and let me know what your thoughts are.

"This is not some God-ordained, wonderfully written story that will stand the test of time. It’s simply a man’s attempt to inspire the rest of man-kind."
